  3. Colour Your Sound: Timbre and TextureChildren learn what timbre and texture mean in music. They discover that every instrument and voice has its own special sound colour, and that layering sounds makes music thicker and richer.
  4. Making Music Together: Combining SoundsChildren learn how pulse, rhythm, pitch, tempo and dynamics can be combined to create expressive music. They practise describing and organising sounds, then represent a simple composition using graphic notation symbols.
