  1. Mon Passé, Mon Présent, Mon Avenir — My Past, Present and FuturePupils explore how French changes across time by learning the passé composé (perfect tense) for past events and 'je vais + infinitive' for future plans. They practise high-frequency verbs — avoir, être, aller, faire — and build towards writing a short paragraph comparing a past experience with a future ambition.
  2. Le Monde Autour de Nous — The World Around UsPupils explore countries, nationalities and the environment in French, learning to name where people come from, agree adjectives for gender, and express justified opinions about global issues.
  3. Raconter une Histoire — Telling a StoryPupils explore the language of French storytelling, learning to understand a short narrative, use sequencing words, apply adjective agreement, and perform their own story aloud with expression.
  4. Bienvenue en France! — A Grand Tour of French CulturePupils take a virtual grand tour of France and the French-speaking world, combining vocabulary, grammar and cultural knowledge from across KS2 to plan and deliver a short presentation about a French-speaking place or celebration. Along the way they revisit gender, adjective agreement and verb conjugation, then reflect on their journey as language learners.
