Spanish: More Than One

To talk about **more than one** thing, Spanish adds **-s** after a vowel (perro → perros) and **-es** after a consonant (papel → papeles).

The word for 'the' changes too: **el → los** for masculine plurals and **la → las** for feminine plurals. That makes four 'the's in total: el, la, los, las!
