Meet the Electric Piano

Music is made of sounds — high sounds like a bird's tweet and low sounds like a lion's rumble. A piano puts all those sounds in a neat row: the keys on the left play LOW notes, and the keys on the right play HIGH notes.

An electric piano makes its sound with electricity and a speaker instead of hammers and strings. That's why it can be light enough to carry, quiet enough for headphones, and it never goes out of tune!

Look closely at the black keys: they come in little groups — two, then three, then two, then three. That pattern is your treasure map! The white key just to the LEFT of every group of TWO black keys is called C.
